You can laugh if you want, but the Giraffe boards have led active harassment and internet stalking campaigns vs two woman here I know of. The kind of stuff which is actually, illegal. In at least one case they dragged it over here and were smacked down for it. People were actually arrested!

Right. . I'm me. Look, when the people here at another board, decide to come over to the Dope and start harassing a member there, it isnt good enough to just say "well it's in the PIT". Crossing over from board to board, etc, could very well be considered Internet harassment and Bullying!!! And they have nothing to lose if their provider shuts that down, but the SDMB does.
