ClamAV running on Linux will find Windows viruses (face it, it doesn't have many linux viruses to look for) and most modern linux distros will have the ability to mount and modify NTFS partitions (sometimes better than Windows can if the file system is damaged). I run a weekly ClamAV scan across my server, and it only ever finds Windows-based viruses in our email folders.
You should try your EuroTalk software in a copy of XP running in
VirtualBox, easier than multibooting and you can snapshot the image while it is known to be clean, and restore it if anything goes haywire.
