If you could use any animal as a steed, which would you choose?

How about an octopus? A flying amphibious octopus. They are smart and could use all those podia for to pay tolls and signal lane changes.

Mine would be sort of a plant, which I guess doesn't count.

It would be a gigantic root, about the diameter of a bus. If I wanted to go to the club, it would grow in that direction and I would be able to ride it, like a nature surfer. Everywhere I go, I would leave this gigantic root thingy behind.
