[Mod Note]:I was having a side discussion with AOK yesterday in the OWS/Oakland thread and meant to get back and respond, but when I finally got back from training today, that thread had become such a massive wall of hyperbolic text, I figured I may as well start a new thread. What you see below are copied posts from that thread. -

Lobbed -v- thrown? Is there really a difference? No matter, it was 'lobbed' directly onto the place where it was *known* a person was injured. Knowingly doing such, whether lobbing, throwing, or causing to be sent through air onto an injured person, is not something a trained professional does or is ever instructed to do. Cowards, or psychopaths, do such things...especially when they try to disappear out of sight afterwards. That cop looks right at Olsen and surely saw him laying there, then backs away to throw his device from away from front-line (behind others who were not doing such things). Very much a cowardly puss any way I look at it.
AnonOps has apparently put a bounty ($1000, iirc) out for personal info on the 'lobber', wanting name/address, etc so that he may be identified for what he is. I would not want to be under such scrutiny myself, not at all. I'd give his name for free if I knew who it was
