Hmm. I'm still pondering the magic bag - Colby can't be protecting team Tinker because animals from a given farm are forbidden from typing the name, even if it's referring to another animal - do i have that right?

You do seem to have it right and by that I also gather that you are not part of team Tinker. Not sure whether that is a good thing or a bad thing but I'm not either and my team is definitely Town. It seems as if Colby has the name of a team which isn't his own or a Tinker. He now knows 2 team names and he needs to share. I am hoping that he gives a name that I don't know because then I can be fairly sure that he is on my team. If he gives another name then if we have 3 teams of 5 then he is most assuredly scum. We know the Tinkers, right, I know my Farmers name, so that's 2 down and now I need to know Colbys info.

I think we must have more than 3 teams. No I'm not on team tinker. I only very vaguely alluded to my team name once and it wasn't caught as far as i know. I thought undies was on my team but his dying declaration of being a piglet nixed that idea. I too am a pig, so he wasn't from my farm.

So from my pov we have team tinker ( supposedly town per colby) team undies ( not tinker but town) team raventhief ( which is town and also not tinker). That is at least 3 town teams. Unless i misread the color that indicated no two of the same species were from the same town.

Exactly. I might have also simplified things in my brain and there are perhaps 4 teams and a few odd people. I think 5 scum out of 15 people is a lot but I accepted that because they didn't know each other at the start of the game. Maybe AA can only kill cows because there aren't any cows? A few beers and my brain goes mad hey

I like this. Apart from mods usually preferring some kind of symmetry. But in this game that might not be the case. In this setup, scum not knowing each other might be a plus for scum.

I've actually gone on a bit about what i think. But I'm drinking a bit and will no doubt opine some more. It's aggravating that the vote record may not yet be useful. It's even more aggravating that we have yet to lynch a scum alted beast. That leaves... logic and booze.

I shared that I'm a pig in order to explain why i think our thinking concerning the number of farms is wrong. IF COLBY IS TELLING THE TRUTH. I have been flipping it over in my head. If tinker is the farmer who had been tinkering with the genetics, colby can't be part of that farm. He could be part of farm Alteration, and is just lying to clear a fellow scummate.

I think... and this may be the beer talking. .. that he will have to flip his cards to show us who and name names. The additional farmer may be scum, may not. We may be at Lylo.

If he is telling the truth, and names the scum team we can look for clues. No scum who has not dropped a clue has access to the scum farm. (Well, except whoever started the board).

I think it would be an excellent idea, team Thomas is not on my team and if there are only 3 teams then I would say that they must be the scum team.

I think FSG could be on the Thomas team, he mentions "where Angels fear to tread" in post 6 and in post 55 he mentions "doubt" quite a few times. My first thought when I saw the name Thomas was doubting Thomas from the bible. Those 2 posts were really early in the game and I should read more but for now



I am just a bit worried that he might be modkilled anyway and it will be a waste of a vote, I think Colby should reveal who he knows is in team Thomas but until he does I will continue scouring D1.

I also think that perhaps SNF is scum, post 183 on D1 he quotes Jefferson without saying Thomas and I think FSG picked up on it. I also think that AA is Town. I think I picked up the clue that she left on D1 and that she is part of my team. Of course, it could all be a load of bollocks and I am reading things that aren't really there. I also think that SisC could perhaps be a pig, her quotes about Animal Farm?

Admittedly, there is a subtle variance of meaning but I stand by my vote not as seeing nothing but as seeing something.

The rest of the list strikes me as a bit dodgy, too. Other than mild dubiousness that could be read as a joke but might be read as casting aspersions on Undies, and "too quiet" regarding the two people who haven't posted (plus Archangel, kind of but waffling). The list itself seems suspect to me, oh Doubting One.

While that might be worth looking at, I have said tinker a few times with impunity as it is not my farmers name. SisC has also said it and I think she is scum. Have you given any thought to what I posted? We know there is a Thomas team and I do think that they are the scum team as they were really making an effort to find each other on D1, all except Dante to his cost.
