As they are built into Vbulletin, here is how tags work.

There are several permission options for allowing users to place tags in threads. Here it is allowed users can place two and delete their own. You can make it so OPs can delete any tags from their own threads -which is how I have it set at my place.

If someone leaves a tag mod/admin can view the tag in the thread and see who left it.

From the back end you can view all tags that have been left. It does not tell you what threads the tags are in or who left them.

The admin control panel allows mass delete - remove all tags from all threads that say "Badtz is a cunt". It also allows you to mass modify - change all tags that say "Badtz is a cunt" to "Badtz is a troll".

I have never used this feature so I don't know what happens to the tag creator identifier in the threads.

Anything else would need to be direct data querry.
