Ahem...I just got a delightful Christmas Card from Eury, who came this ][ close to getting a replacement for her smudgy pen.

That is all.

Is this where I'm supposed to say "End trains?"

Yayyy! That's taken ages! I just got back from Romblokehaus today to find a bonanza. Lovely cards from Jali, Zeener, Dirx (with code) and splodey. Thank you all, it's been so great to get all your cards. I will definitely be posting mine a lot earlier next year.

I got back to my apartment yesterday to find 7 cards!

A pretty bilingual card from Swivels
A shiny gold wreath from backyard
A gorgeous card with a VERY INACCURATE INSCRIPTION from eleanorigby
A kitty and a puppy from Harry
A somewhat less sleepy puppy from jali
An awesome magnet from Chacoguy
A cryptic card from Dirx with way too many holly leaves on it

Thanks so much, guys! I'm so glad this year's exchange was such a success.

I got one from romola yesterday. With a cute l'il puppy on it! It took me a while to decipher the signature.

I've put away all the Christmas stuff already, so this one will have to adorn my cubicle walls for a while.

Thank you all for the cards. It sure made getting the mail something to look forward to this year!

Did anyone in Europe or other places besides Canadia get my cards before Board Taurus got hers on the 31st? I'd like to laugh at the efficiency that doesn't exist in the Canadian Postal System since I sent all my cards out back on the 15th. Seems strange since Canadia is only about 30 minutes away from me.

Yes, sorry I didn't bold your name but yours was in the batch that I posted about yesterday, splodey. Not sure when it actually arrived because I was away from the 22nd until last night. It's a lovely glittery xmas stocking card and much appreciated.

Swivels! I got your fabulous (seriously, it's fab) postage stamp card today.

Xploder, for your further amusement, it was postmarked December 24th but keep in mind it did have to make it overseas.

Thanks again, Swivels.

Yay! I'm finally back home, and have plenty of cards waiting for me!

Thanks Jules, Timbicile, Harry (love the drawing!), Eury (I'll put you down on the list of People To Name Dinosaurs After ), Bratti Atti (Giraffaclaus! Awesome!), and Islander!

These xmas/postcard exchanges are easily the best thing about this board.

I see that Canada Post strikes again! The card that had the shortest distance to travel seems to have taken the longest to arrive, out of mine. And I'm glad everyone likes the card. I thought it was pretty, and just about as Canadian as you can get, short of having something that dispenses maple syrup...

You might want to run that one by Solfy...I understand she can already do caramel sauce, so maybe she can use the other boob for maple syrup.

Nope. They're both caramel. But if I eat all this rice pudding, they may wind up with a touch of cardamom in there.

Hmmph...seems like either poor planning or poor marketing, to me.

Never mind, then.

Yep, mine was returned to sender yesterday too. Merry Late Holidays anyway!

(January 22?? I mailed them on December 13. Maybe they just tried extra hard to find her?)
