Greatest Hit of the '70s, Round 2a: My Sweet Lord (1971) vs. Love Is Alive (1976)
"My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison (#31 song of 1971) vs. "Love Is Alive" by Gary Wright (#9 song of 1976)
To reduce the chances that two strong songs would meet in Round 2, criteria were used to assign songs to the top or bottom half of the remaining field. "My Sweet Lord" was considered to be a relatively strong contender for being Rolling Stone's #460 Song of All Time. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All poll threads in this megapoll for "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison All poll threads in this megapoll for "Love Is Alive" by Gary Wright |
