Boardwhiner Roo - To mod or not?

If you haven't been watching the action on the GB, the background is that a poster there decided to be concerned constantly the entire time the board has been in existance.

Do you think the mods should step in to tell Boardwhiner Roo to stop?

And while I'm concerned about the answer to that question, I'm more concerned about the answer to the question of whether you think if Boardwhiner Roo keeps doing the same thing here, she should or not be modded for it, so that's what the poll is asking.

Also, do you think peer pressure would work to stop things like this from happening? How so?

Beyond that if I start a Box thread (where there's supposedly no moderation. . . and it gets stealth-moved to another forum by a mod) about GB moderation can you guess what my opinion is about the subject?

Poll is pubic. I like pubes

Why is there no third option?

I demand this poll be closed and all memory of it wiped.

I thought the question was whether or not Roo should be made a mod. Since I'm confused, I can't honestly vote in the poll. Confused people should be disenfranchised. I disenfranchised myself. It only hurt a little bit.

Why does it have to be shovels? There are perfectly good pitchforks scattered about. I'm concerned that a predisposition to shovels exists, and that this could negatively impact our ability to shame people into conformity.

The question "to mod or not" here is invariably no, hence the high price of shovels due to great demand.

Shovels are a wonderful all-purpose tool. You can load basketballs faster with shovels than with pitchforks.

People think that the forks have to have the backwards facing gripping grooves. It's like a holy law law, you can't find smooth tines that allow a smooth throw.

Blessed be the tines that bind, I guess.

Are there no wombats in this poll due to Roo ostensibly being a marsupial? And are these weapons-grade shovels or bendy things sold at the dollar store? You know a workman by his tools!

Hey!

Leave the woman alone!

I think this is pretty mean spirited and I don't understand why we can accept all kinds of bullshit from other people, but Roo has become the whipping boy for the boards.

Jali, I get that you're not too pleased with the Roo pile-on, but I'm baffled as to how you're not seeing that she's not deserving of said treatment. The veiled attempts at circumventing the rules, the passive aggression, the concern trolling, the post-reporting nonsense - I think it's reasonable to come to the conclusion she's being disruptive for the sake of being disruptive.

Why all this RAEG with hefty yard tools? A singletail whip or a multistrand flogger does such a better job, and it's easier to lift too.

As for Khampy -- there's only so many "fork" jokes before the idea loses its luster.

Follow up at Louns: Would you prefer Roo had only a master baiting thread?
