My eldest niece (just turned 21 at the end of April) had herself a 7lbs, 19 3/4" long little girl at 5:20 this morning.

Since my niece wanted my sister there when the baby was born, but my sister lives in Missouri, my sister and I switched places last month. I've been down here with her youngest kids, while she's been up there waiting for the baby to be born.

When I held the phone up to my youngest niece's ear this morning (she's eight), her eyes got as big as saucers and her mouth went all :O at hearing the baby cry. Then as soon as I'd hung up, she said, "Now my mom is coming home!"
