Nothing to do? Guinan played key functions in two classic episodes, "The Measure of a Man" and "Yesterday's Enterprise." She had respectable turns in a bunch more. She appeared in the best of the Borg episodes and her story informed theirs, or vice-versa. She could hang with everyone from Captain Picard to Ensign Ro.
