So, my trip started at 2:45 AM when I pushed off from home. The driving was uneventful until I started west on I-80 off the PA Turnpike, when I ran into a storm system that on and off dumped water on me for the next 4-5 hours until I got into Ohio. I got past the clouds about a third of the way into Ohio, and found sunny skies for the rest of the drive. The driving directions aimed me at a nonexistent turnoff of I-80 for US 20, but I managed to get around that and into Indiana. It then directed me to the wrong half of the county road for the Hoosier Air Museum.
I ultimately found the Museum about 1 PM, which was a bit of a pocket joint off the airport. Not a whole lot of displays, but some nice-looking planes. And they had a Cobra helicopter in pretty good condition, so it was worth it.
Around 3 PM I headed over to the Chinese Buffet where I linked up with DogMom, Captain Spaulding, backyard and todd33rpm. eleanorigby was a late show to the party, but a pretty good time was had, with lots of discussion and occasional picture-taking.
We broke from there around 7 PM (and weren't even chased out), and wandered around downtown looking at art statues for an hour until everyone turned into pumpkins and we broke for the night.
Edits! I did the Auburn Cord Dusenberg museum on Monday with DogMom and Captain Spaulding. My original plan was to hit that first thing at 9 AM and then move on to NATMUS (National Automobile and Truck Museum of the United States) next door around 12 or 1 PM. Yeah, that didn't happen. There were a LOT of cars to take pictures of. I didn't wrap up at ACD until about 4 PM, and got 45 minutes or so at NATMUS. Still, got most of the main floor. After that, I did dinner with DogMom and Captain Spaulding, then called it a night.
On Tuesday, I made the big drive back after stopping in at NATMUS in the morning. I hit Ohio relatively early, and then entered Pennsylvania about threeish hours after that, then had the long drive back across the state.

I'm glad you found the statues, I forgot to mention those but my husband and FIL both commented on them when they went to Auburn this July. Glad dinner was fun and I hope the museums were also!

... aaaand I'm back! Had a good drive. Finished up looking at NATMUS in the morning (DogMom and Captain Spaulding went along with me to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg museum, and then I did a brief peek at NATMUS at the end of the day on Monday), then hit the road at a bit before 11 AM. Managed to get in around 9:30 PM this evening. Now going to go sleep.
