We were supposed to get a big settlement check for hubby's illegal firing.
I'm an idiot. They said it would be direct deposit. Well, about 8 months ago our account was compromised, so we had to get a new account. I forgot to tell them. Instead of the several thousand we were expecting, we got $200.00 they sent to savings.

Got our taxes back from the CPA.
I've never had to pay before. With nothing coming in except my social security, which pays most of the mortgage, leaving us in the dark...literally.
I have to find out how to get a payment plan started.

Whatever shall I do?

Today is my first blog entry, ever. I'm not exactly sure why I'm even attempting this.

I've kept diaries in the past, on paper. I'm not good at it. I get side-tracked easily. Going back to read old diary entries is usually just embarrassing.

My husband, was fired from his job after 25 years for an incident that happened 3 years ago. His union is fighting it and he goes to arbitration in June. In the mean time, we need to eat, pay bill and generally live our lives. ...
