Since it would be increasingly off-track, I'll share my amusement here. In addition to Romans, it seems that Playmobil has a line of Egyptians, Gauls, even a Masai Warrior and an Arab. The last two are more recent in time period, but it just tickles me that they have more variety than pirates, knights and things-around-town.

The Romans make good desk curios, but that's me.
