Or Vikings. Tough to enslave, but good workers when they have a mind to be!

    Part two:
How do they expect me to keep to 1000 characters? I'm MUCH to long winded for that.

A word about your blog - when it's time to change things, you will. If you're questioning it, it's too soon. You might feel better about her chair going to someone in need. The ramps aren't hurting anything and you wear your damn ring as long as you feel you are still married! Removing all signs of her this soon seems as unhealthy as keeping everything as a shrine. Moderation my friend, all things in moderation!

Aaaah - clever Bastard, are you? Luckily I'm too lazy to Google - the frustration would have been annoying! I DO believe you have invented a word- not that I expect it will get much use from todays "R U & CYL" crowd. Too long, too many letters and syllables. You are a man behind your times. Sorry. (Can I ask what motion you had in mind, or is that being presumptuous?)
Should you find yourself in possession of tribes of jews ( or other capable humans, I'm not racist!) please send them my way. The half acre could use more than my overweight, middle aged ass pushing stuff around.

Good Morning! It's your turn to explain the screen name. I know I could Google it, but I'd rather know what it means to you and why you chose it.
As for all the offers of help - let anyone close enough do your housework - which ever stuff you don't like. I'm serious. You don't have to bother with something you'll end up doing soon enough and it actually makes people feel better to have *something* to do to help. Dishes, laundry, hell- floors and windows! "Well, since you asked, the {insert mindnumbingly boring chore} - I just can't seem to get to it - would you mind terribly? People will fall over themselves to get there. It's amazing. And they're GRATEFUL for the chance. LISTEN TO ME-----USE IT! There's plenty of time to do your own scut work. Let people DO something - it helps THEM. And anyone in Cali - send 'em to my house - I got plenty! ;-) Wish you were here, I've got a half acre of oak leaves and pine needles to burn. And they do make a spectacular fire since they're dry. The avatar and screename came easily as I was quite the avid dragon collector. I have a similar tattoo - the first of 3, that I got on my 40th Bday. Enter Ebay and dragons on demand and after a brief free for all, sort of burned out. They were much more fun when they were difficult to find.
I'm not sure why I feel such a pull to reach out to you. I've become damn near a stalker in the last few days. Perhaps it's because I lost someone dear to me several years ago and I really can feel your pain, and somehow pay homage to my own. The Board is full of people reaching to you right now, consider me one...

Love the avatar - Dr Seuss is one of my favorites. And pretty easy for beginning readers, since everything rhymes and the words are made - so who knows how they are SUPPOSED to be?

It's a traditional timespan, for mourning or courting I suppose. But for places to stop, it's a good one, too. I've done my time on this. This process in general, and this blog in specific. I'm no longer in the rest of my life, I'm just in my life, and the complications and woes and joys and triumphs are among the living.

I don't really know how to approach this. My Maia passed away and I have lived a life without her presence for a year. As I am turning 40 this year, the math works out pretty clean. I had a love for 40% of my life, and I have spent the last 2 1/2% without. Math is a good buffer to reality.

I scattered Maia's ashes today, though scatter is the wrong word. I sunk them in Philippi creek. Took her out by the piers where she last walked, just before Christmas '07, and let her go....

Had a book of poetry at one point, a compilation thing, Bunches of poems form different era's and grouped b themes. You know the kind of book I'm talking about. One night we read to each other and played with the performance of reading poetry. One of them was Quinn the Eskimo, by Bob Dylan. I scoffed, silly pop music included in a book of poetry. Maia showed me wrong. And now when I close my eyes and recall her voice, what I alway hear is "But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here, Everybody's...

The Troglodyte asked me today why I mouse left handed. Maia did. She was leftie. Mega leftie. I'm much closer to ambidextrous so i adapted and now it seems normal. I don't trust people who mouse with their dominant hands. Something unnatural about them.

After that short explanation (slightly altered to textualize the sub) I got a serious case of the bad tingles and was bout worthless the last hour I was there. I don't like the bad tingles. It's a physiological manifestation...

Today was a long shitty day. Got some iffy news at work, and since Mare was out I had to be mega manager and do her job as well as mine. Too much stress and too busy to think. Which was blessingish. Had a couple moments of near panic then got too busy to hurt.

Two more days then I have a day off. The day off.
