    I was an Officer Trainee. I loved the work but hated the drill. My current boss love them both. 30 years later we are together and his rank is trumped by my badassedness. I wish he had been that scared of me then.

    Oh heck, that was sent without a message. I was Coast Guard, old school, Academy Class of 77, but left. My boss was Class of '74. We have an odd relationship.

    If you're ever in the Ocean State, the name of the place is the Port-O-Call in Galilee. For some reason, Rhode Islanders know things by what they used to be called, so you may have to ask around for the old Finbacks!

    Haha! Thanks! It's funny because it was not the best day weather-wise, but was taken at what is believed to be the best place in the state of Rhode Island to view the sunset. I'd wanted to go there for years for that reason alone and finally made it there, so I'm happy to have the memory! And, of course, to inspire someone to take a vacay and relax!

In my Ask the Black Chick thread, I mentioned an event in my life having to do with hair removal and said I might share it in a blog.
