I have had the idea for this story for a few years, but recently I felt compelled to write it, even though I had other stories I planned to tell first. I wrote 60,000 words in one week, but it was extremely rough, almost an outline in places. I have since returned and rewritten the first few chapters to include more dialog and descriptions, but I am still unhappy with it.

I started writing this story sometime in 1998 or 1999, but never finished it. There were a few more chapters I added a year or two after I started it, but they were posted elsewhere and I lost my copies of those chapters, so this is all I have left.
