Fun Fact:
I
literally only know of Gummi Bears through some random Kingdom Hearts memes/fanart, and the theme song has
never left my brain since.
That's how you know it's good.

Would that I could have more time here. But I'm over as it is for this post, relative to getting my shift at work started. And that will probably prevent me back in here, at least with substantial meaning, before EOD.

I must concur here.
On the bright side, it seems like this whole tangle will be
highly readable once we get a flip out of it. So my D1 fears have mostly been quelled...except for, y'know, the possibly getting run over by the bandwagon part.

It doesn't seem to me at all contrived. And even if it were, what is the possible scum motive?
Either Pleonast or myself is confused about the rules. I think each player is allowed ONE recipe post which may contain (within reason) several special ingredients, dishes, or techniques. Pleonast seems to think he gets THREE posts, one each for a SINGLE ingredient, dish, technique; and for some reason is hinting at words rather than making explicit contest submissions. If his understanding is wrong, This is a Town tell — Scum are more cognizant of the rules, especially if they have Day Chat.
Question 1: Do Scum have Day Chat?
Question 2: Does Question q make me appear Scummy? ("Oooh, he's pretending he doesn't know when Scum can chat!")

If you are who I assume you are, you have about 29 socks, each with its own personality. Are you trying to beat the record set by Allah with His 99 names?

I do see the logic here, and it seems to make the original exchange a bit clearer. But certainly just a bit

Hey, fair play. You have reasons and a vote, and sometimes that's good enough. Real life comes first. (Or at least bad things happen when it doesn't.)

Not really. It's a Day One gut read. Also, I think it's counter-productive to discuss townie tells.
I'm also also concerned that the discussion is being too dominated by a few of us.
|
Well, the reason I wanted to hear about it was (as per your playing with pairings) it seems to inform a great deal of what you're doing, and I feel like you'd want to make that followable. But I have known types that like to keep cards close to their chest until they feel they have a slam dunk.
(Horribly mixed metaphors, I'm aware)
I mean, there's naturally gonna be some significant differences in mouthiness between us, and my own solution to that issue is to try getting some more out of the quieter ones (like I've been trying to do with BC/Texcat) before we conclude the Day.

This is townie. There's absolutely no reason for LightFoot to do this as scum.

That was a random vote with no information, Mendie. Am I missing something?

Here's the chaser.
Now we have to consider that this might be a pressure-induced lift, at least partially. I don't remember for certain if BC was this brusque last game, and I still think the RVS vote/unvote stinks a bit.
But if we
accept BC's claim that Simon was a random vote and there was nothing fishy behind the unvote, I think this whole sequence from BC actually makes some sore of sense.
