Engagement-type CZ solitaire ring?

My wife and I will be celebrating our 14th anniversary next month. She's mentioned she'd like a yellow gold, CZ solitaire engagement-type ring. She has diamonds too, but wants something she can wear and not worry too much about the stone falling out when gardening, at work, etc. She has looked at a few round, 1 to 1.5 carat ones online and has seen a few she likes but nothing she's mad about. Anyone know of a good (preferably online) source for that kind of thing? Maybe a good costume jeweler you've used?

Hello BeeAre,

First of all, Welcome!

Second of all, congratulations on your anniversary!

Lastly, whereabouts are you (roughly)? I know a couple in North Wales but that might be tricky for you!

Etsy is a decent source for that sort of thing. Here's a search for gold cubic zirconia rings. You can also put in a request for something custom.

Aha! Um, I don't think the ones I know have an online presence but I'll take a look in a bit and link here if they do. If they don't I can give you directions to Bangor on the bus if that's any help?

Otherwise, I'll let the experts chime in...

We'll expect full updates on all the preparations for your anniversary fun so keep us posted!

I got my engagement ring from QVC. It's gorgeous! And it was only $60

They also have simpler designs, and I've always received great service from them.

That ring is really pretty! I'm a huge fan of cubic zirconia. They're flawless and inexpensive. Plus that's one more diamond the industry won't be selling - I hate De Beers.

I was going to post that QVC has nice jewelry but Hockey Monkey beat me to it. Have your wife poke around their website and see if there's anything she likes. They have CZs in gold for sure. (They call their CZ "Diamonique. Haha!)

Try Stauer or Ross & Simons.

Check Bidz.com They have great prices and a metric shitload of rings. I've been pretty happy with the stuff I get from them.

Agree about QVC. My wife likes a fair amount of their stuff(and she is picky). She buys from QVC for stuff she wants and I give her the real stuff. Its kind of our deal.

That is a pretty ring. I think what she is most interested in is a plain old round thing set in yellow gold. All the other diamond solitaires she's had have been marquis cut. I will definitely check out all the places you guys have suggested. If I ever decide on anything, I'll try and remember to post a picture of it.
I knew I'd get some good suggestions here!
