Honestly, both Maha and plum look partnery from this analysis. Maha for the way he soft-shaded him and never followed up on it (cf. guiri's "distancing" comment below) and plum for the really strained and hedgy-looking "townread".

What's cool about this situation is that we have axes to drop on both of them before the game is out, but I'd still prefer we not get too cocky and make sure no-one else fits better. Not sure how that'll go though, as D2 Vanta focused almost entirely on himself (possibly deliberately, as an anti-associative strategy.)

I haven't quite thought it through either (and don't plan to because I wanna take some me-time before work tomorrow) but it seems like a bus even D2 is a huge gamble, and only works if you're sure you're going to pick off the Cop and/or some of their peeks. And given that everyone who piped up cited someone living, I feel like (at minimum) that last part doesn't apply.

Speaking of D1, considering Pleo's flip and my peek (ultra-true pinky swear of truth) on guiri, I feel like the only reasonable room for bussage on D1 would be Sea Serpent. But I feel like you'd disagree with that (for your own different and also very true reasons.)

VCA has never really been my forte, but my 2c is the most productive avenues in that part of town are the Pleo wagon D1 and the counter-voters D2.

Still, I don't feel like I've got a bead on Sea Serpent myself, and it's a little hard to believe we almost goated D1 with a 100% pure wagon on Vanta.

I recommend not voting for Mahaloth as he was smudged by Vanta on Day 1 based on faulty reasoning. I don't think Vanta attacks his partner here.
