Minesweeper Won't Load!

I am trying to waste time, and Minesweeper won't let me!

Come the New Year, and clicking on Minesweeper just takes me to the screen with the mine circling around and stays there. I have done the Reset/Repair under Settings, un-installed and re-installed, cleared my cookies and cache. Nothing. I did a search on Minesweeper Server status, and it is supposedly fine.

Please save me from the horrors of doing something productive with my time.
