Should note, I forgot Pepe Le Pew and Speedy Gonzales. There are others but those would be the major omissions...

While not strictly canon Looney Tunes, there is Willie Wombat, a Looney Tunes adjacent character from Taz-Mania.

And just coincidentally, reminds me of Jim Nightshade, but without the dance moves.

Gotta write in Speedy Gonzales because they both are from foreign countries and can move really fast.

Or Pepe Le Pew because again, foreign countries and are big pimping with the ladies

We can do write-ins? Then I'm changing my vote to Gossamer.

Or maybe Hugo.

Did you forget that no one ever dies in the Looney Tunes world?
You'd have to eat him alive and then deal with him constantly trying to climb up your throat or claw through your abdomen to get out.

If he had, those ACME rockets would have given even Taz a bit of indigestion.

When I think of Jim, I think of Marvin the Martian. But of course Jim is nothing like Marvin so I gotta go with Sylvester on that.

When I saw the thread title I was going to vote for Marvin the Martian. Now I don't know who to vote for.

My brother named one of his cats after that. "I'll love him, and squeeze him and name him George. One of My brother's cat was named George." After exactly that.

'Meh, whatever....

Have you ever seen Pepe le Pew's first cartoon? If it's considered canon with respect to all his other cartoons, it puts them in a different light.

This is very exciting!
There doesn't seem to be a winner yet though.
I once danced with Jessica Rabbit, and I remember I had to pick up her knickers which she lost while we did a serious disco dance. Too much shaking of them hips.
It was thankfully not caught on camera.

Jim was mistaken. That wasn't Jessica Rabbit. It was Bugs Bunny in drag.

I don't think it's canon. It's impossible to square with the Pepe we see in other cartoons who is quite definitely French, since those stories are set in and around France...

Okay, fine. In the prototype Pepe Le Pew cartoon before the character was actually established, the embryonic Pepe is revealed as a fraud who drops his French accent when his wife and kids catch him. And the cat he's chasing is actually a boy he mistakes for a girl somehow.

Pepe denies all this.

Good point, Flying Saucer. I'll have to add it to Early Installment Weirdness.

Right now, Jim is a three-way tie between being Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and Granny. Which is an interesting mental picture.

Infraclass? Really? Everything between phylum and genus is now a "clade", the number of levels got out of control.
