Happy Halloween 2015

As promised, two of the Solfyettes in their Mom-made costumes. I made Swimmy's costume for Eldest when she was Swimmy's age. Middle Dottir's costume was made to coordinate with her mask, which her grandmother picked up in New Orleans.
My apologies for the size. Nothing I do seems to unenhuge them today.

Cute!! I'm pretty sure that's more sewing right there than my lifetime total.

I got four groups of kids. So they got enough each for two cavities and a mild case of insulin shock.

That is adorabobble. I am not the sort of person to squee, but if I was, this would make me do it.

Great job on the costumes! Guaranteed winners at any Halloween party costume contest.

Thanks! I love making memories for them. The sewing wasn't that bad, just more last minute than I'd prefer.

I'm up to seven groups of the little ghouls now. I'm down to just a couple handfuls of ammo candy so I hope they taper off soon.

So what did Eldest go as?

Those are adorable. Magnificent, magnanimous Mom move.

And the pictures are sized right, says the man who's posted huge swaths of skin.

Solfy, those are too cute! Good job on making a child-appropriate version of Harley Quinn.

I can't believe Swimmy's so big already!

Eldest was a serial killer. I didn't see more than bits and pieces of it (she collaborated with a friend), but it involved wearing men's clothes from Goodwill spattered with fake blood.

Yes...what he said, except for the "huge swaths of skin" thing.

MIL bought it that way. She was my inspiration to dig out the witch costume because she found the brooms at a store and wanted to get one for someone. She's a sweet heart.
