What am I missing? Each iteration apparently gets boxed forever, pretty much as soon as it appears, for no particular reason that I can see. I realize TPTB are under no obligation to explain their actions, and that socks are on a very short leash, but this is bordering on ridiculous. I don't particularly care, but I'm confused.
