How do you tag people? How does that work?

I was mostly away when this was installed so I'm not as up on it as I might be. There's no shortcut to avoid having to dig up the mentionee's member # and enter it by hand, is there?

Apparently you CAN just use the @ sign and type the name, but you have to get it just right without a pop-up list to choose from like on Facebook and Twitter. I think it is even case sensitive. @Borborygmi @Borborygmi

You can also scroll over the user's name and their user number will pop up in a status bar at the bottom of the page.
