I love themed games!

Hi Sooh and Double A, hope you have fun playing here, are you both from the org?

From his reaction to receiving a PM, Meeko is undoubtedly townie, almost 100% confirmed. But Mahaloth, that's a whole other story. Reading the rules? And asking about length of Day? Must be scum looking to decide their strategy!

Oh, good Lord. I just hadn't read the rules until the game was set to actually begin. Still, kudos to you for voting early.

For those (like me) that aren't so good with time conversions, that's 10am UTC and 6am on the U.S East Coast.

Being welcoming to new players, joking, or voting early with little or no reason? Which do you want more of?

And that's midnight for me! Very helpful of you there. Is this your second ever game of Mafia?

So, 16 players, 4 scum? Our wincon allows for other factions. Are there monsters in the game? Trojan horses? A mountain of gods?

Yeah, I played my first ever mafia game there in March this year. I feel like I'm still very much learning the game, but I'm having fun with it

I've also played a bit on POG, mainly turbos

I'm here to utterly wreck this village in my own inimitable style.

I promise I will make it as entertaining as I usually do.

Sorry about all those near-lynches I escaped from, village. You almost had me.

Also, I've totally done this before as scum and gotten away with it.

Philosophical question:

If Askthepizzaguy murders a deadbeat in cold blood in the middle of the forest and then buries him in a frickin hole, does said deadbeat continue to make with the sounds? Because in my informed opinion, the deadbeat don't usually tell nobody about it.

I would, my sweet love, but I'm afraid I'm here strictly as a professional. I have a reputation I need to maintain, and that means I can't get distracted by a broad, no matter how enchanting. Plus there's a body in my trunk and it's 90 degrees out, so I can only stay for lunch.

Do you happen to have a pair of really good gloves that you don't mind not ever seeing again?

Lol well then. By all means... Take whatever you need.

Basically I'm just hot and bothered at the moment. I guess that's what going to Greece does to you. Looking forward to making some new acquaintances though.

It was direct-to-video, sadly. I couldn't get the funding from Kickstarter.

Anyway, vote: idrinkthere4iam for not posting at all, which is clearly a sign of evilosity. And when they show up saying they were "drinking," you'll know who called it.

Guiri I was referring to your 'jokes' in post #4 - I assumed they were tongue in cheek.

quoted from Guiri
Quote:
"So, 16 players, 4 scum? Our wincon allows for other factions. Are there monsters in the game? Trojan horses? A mountain of gods?"
I didn't read it that way- but I see your point.

from the rules " Private Messages cannot be quoted, they must be paraphrased. "
So I will tread lightly ---- I saw that threats to Town had to be all dead- and didn't think to factor in possible non-Scum threats-

I guess we can let Scum sort that out we (I assume) need to take care of them all anyway.

It is us and them- what ever costume 'they' are wearing.

Now a serious vote, Lulz, in my book it's fine to place a baseless vote, a joke vote, a random vote, a grudge vote, a lurker vote, a poke vote, a copycat vote, or whatever takes your fancy on D1, not giving a reason is a little iffy, but not making any other comment whatsoever is suspicious as hell.

I never really considered that. I know we tend to get paranoid about claimed third parties, in case they are win-stealing, but it sounds quite risky expecting scum to deal with PFKs.

Don't missunderstand me- We need them gone too- but we need every one of them gone--- Scum may be more threatened by a PFK ( depending on their win-con ) is that any clearer?

Meh, you can pick one.

Being "committed" to lynch a ton of people is the same as being committed to lynching whoever you like.

I'm perfectly happy to be committed to lynching whoever I like, rather than committed to lynching someone I have a half-assed Day 1 vote on.

Of course, if we go by last game, that would give me 100% Scum, but.

Yes, my vote is serious although not strong. Double A started both "votes" (one was in black so I don't think it's a real vote) with "Anyway." The first vote seemed to be a joke, and then the second vote is "lynch the lurker" with a jokey justification.

Something about this strikes me as forced, like an attempt to get participation on record without having to commit to it. Maybe their playstyle is just jolly, and maybe I'm totally off base about the "anyway" (I wasn't too happy when I was town in the last game I played and people wanted to lynch me for the use of the word "also"). But it's bugging me, so my vote will stay unless and until I find something that pings me more.

Also, I think guiri's vote is serious too.
