Meeko is starting to bother me the more time goes on. He's getting away with posting nothing of significance without any heat. It's not that different from how he usually plays, but if anything it's less game content than usual, so it's starting to ping me.

Guiri's been pinging me on and off but the more time goes on the better I feel about him. I just can't see him being the 5th vote on a town Lightfoot as scum. Not unless lulz is scum, and I don't think he is.

I also don't think a me vs. Guiri dichotomy means one of us is town and one is scum. I could be scum looking to smudge him, or scum looking to set up a bus on him. Or I could be town being pinged by him either way. Also, Guiri has responded to me in general but hasn't really posted an opinion about me, so I'm just not seeing why you think we're a mismatched pair.

I don't have a read on SisterCoyote other than she always pings me as scum and I don't see her playing differently.

I started out feeling this way about Scathach and Mahaloth, but the more time goes on the more I think they're likely scum. Scathach can get really really defensive when she's frustrated town and I'm not getting that feel out of her. Mahaloth, like Meeko, is posting even less game-related content than usual.

To sum up my ramblings, I think DoubleA is scum. I think you, lulz, and Idrinkthere4Iam are not.

And I think at least one of Meeko, Scathach, Mahaloth and Sario is scum. I'll work with you on Scathach, but in return I ask that you consider DoubleA as potential scum.

I agree with your assessment about that question, and like I said, I don't think this group ostracizes someone for no reason. That said, people were pretty personal toward lulz at start of the game. I'm not saying that happened in a vacuum either.

It would be good if stuff like that ended now. I'm going to vote for the next person who makes the game personal, period. I want this to be a game between friends.

Passion is fine, being irritated is fine. But even when I have been irritated with folks in this game I have not brought things down to such a level. It's a good line to not cross.

If we had a lead other than my suspicions and who the mafia are choosing to kill off, I'd suggest keeping mum. But we can't keep mislynching.

I agree with the logic of your stagger. I'm not sure claiming is ever the best move on Day 3, especially I mean, isn't that very soon? I swear this game has been running on all nine cylinders since we started. Yes, nine.

I take great offense to this statement pizza. Never question my dedication to games. I may not stay up all night and post every minute, but I am invested in this game, otherwise I would sub out. I work a very demanding, stressful job. I've worked 12 hours or more for the last 3 weeks, including weekends. I work 16 hours today. This will probably be the only post you see from me today as I have to check the board on my phone at work, and probably won't post anything even if I read it since I don't have the time.

I wonder if there's any way to make the anonymous messages useful, it seems a waste to simply ignore them, I can't imagine that was the mod's intention with the power.

As for Meeko's request, I expect he's looking for more than a power claim, but shedding light on Lulz and Double A will certainly help move the game along. If Meeko's got an investigative or informative role, his lack of contribution is to be expected since he's happy to "solve" the game based on facts, confirmations, and results of actions, without needing to get involved in expressing suspicion, making cases, or traditional scum hunting.

Weekends are not good for me which puts Day end at sort of an awkward time. I'm usually around reading on my phone but it's a real pain to reply with it.

Anyway - since there seems to be an almost unanimous (which should be causing you concern given how unopposed it is) push to lynch me today the chances of me turning the tides are slim - nevertheless:

Pizza's case on me (which I presume everyone is following since I don't think I've seen anyone else actually make any accusations about me) is largely based on me not being active/involved enough I think? Also he thinks my votes for Double A were forced and too pedantic (I believe "badgering" was the phrase used). As to the first, well fair enough if he thinks so, I'll admit I tunnelled a bit on Double A to the exclusion of other candidates. But, I genuinely did think the case on Double A was a fair one & rather than "badgering" I was repeatedly calling out what I felt were Double A's attempts to misrepresent and completely avoid addressing the point I was making. Mind you, given Meeko's recent claim, looks like I was wrong on all counts.

Ok so my reads/leans:

Lulz - Probably town. I never saw the scum other people were seeing in him and as the game has progressed he's just seemed more and more townie in his reactions to poeple (particularly his post where he questions Lightfoot's mechanics post although I also agree with archangel that Lightfoot does that as town too).

AskthePizzaGuy: Scummish. Not entirely OMGUS although maybe partially. I don't particularly mind him thinking I'm scum but I don't like his complete certainty and I especially don't like how all of town seems to be dancing to his tune. He's doing a lot of guilt tripping (Why will no one contribute???) in order to get people to vote the way he wants them to. Then again, he's Pizza and certainty is his stock in trade.

DizzyMrsLizzy focused on lulz quite a lot but yet accused him of not answering questions that he had in fact answered. While (obviously) I can sympathise with tunnelling to an extent, when I tunnelled I was combing through all of Double A's posts. It's weird to me that she would be so convinced he was scum and not pay a lot of attention to what he was saying. Scummy.

Meeko - would have said scummy but I tend to give claims the benefit of the doubt.

Guiri was the only person who seemed to see what I was talking about with Double A, but ironically I actually think he's scummy this game. I honestly can't put my finger on why.

SisterCoyote - her day 1 was fine, but I don't really like todays bandwagon vote. She's said she's busy with IRL stuff though so *shrugs*

Mahaloth I'm flip flopping on but on balance I think could be scummy.

Sooh and Sario I keep mixing up (sorry!) so I'm currently completely neutral on both.

Tell you a story that happened oh about 2 days ago: A scumbag came into the thread and had no idea they were found guilty by investigation and proceeded to respond to things in a shallow and very fake manner until they came across the post where they were caught dead to rights, basically went oh **** and stopped posting.

Why am I getting deja vu?

Here's why:

Lightfoot is dead, and you apparently pulled your entire list of leans out of your butt without doing any investigative effort whatsoever.

Your contributions to the game before today were at the bottom of a well compared to Scathach the villager that I remember. Now you just gave me an entire list of leans on people you haven't bothered to read at all.

Blue: Nothing specific about what I am doing, which is my standard villager play, and why it is scummy. I'm your main accuser and I've poured my heart and soul into this game and you can't be bothered to have a firm villager or scum lean on me, nor cite even one post that made you feel a certain way.

Green: You might not be able to put your finger on why he's scummy because you're not paying attention to him. He was one of the people who helped lynch Lightfoot. So if he's a scum lean and you're not reading him, how did he become a scum lean? Did you just need to highlight a few names on your list as scummy?

Magenta: Completely neutral on the guy who was modconfirmed innocent, TODAY, and the girl who is helping me lynch you, can't tell them apart.

Purple: Is not a lean or even a declaration that you are neutral on him. It's hard to generate an entire list of fake opinions, but this is the kind of stuff people do to pad a list of make believe.

Scaw. I have seen you village. You're a scary villager. Right up there with TexCat and BillMc. I respect you far too much to ever let this slide. Villager-you does not make a list of fake leans. I could understand if you're busy IRL but this looks only like a naked attempt to clear yourself by pretending to have not been following what is going on and covering for it by saying gotta post from phone.

That's fine but you don't also pretend to have a full list of opinions on every player at the same time, which are as in-depth as the milk at the bottom of a finished bowl of cereal. You read first and then put in the villaging effort. There's never a villager reason to fake a leans list and claim vanilla unless you're a cop, and we have a cop claim, or a scumbag.
