A Dutch(?--Northern European) guy pretending to be some kind of nomadic Arab, he spewed hate-speech, mild anti-Semitism and crazy-assed misogyny for about a year and a half and was able to get away with it because Zotti hisownself said that Aldey brought a unique point of view and added value to the board's deep international presence. (Once he was bannenated, the Opalboard people begged him to come there where his genius could be appreciated. He did, whereupon he was pretty quickly banned for shitting up threads.)

Wow. What a nice start to the work-week, coming back to see BG banned! The guy consistently annoyed the piss out of me with his constant link-dropping.
I think I've mentioned it before, but there's a board I used to frequent that had a couple of posters like him. What made it really bad was they had some overlap to their interests, so there would be threads with nothing but back-and-forth link posting. You'd have a thread with several dozen posts and if you took out the link-only posts, there would be maybe 5 posts left. Several of us complained to the mods about it and how it was making the board unpleasant but we got the "some people enjoy it and if you don't like it you can ignore it". We wound up all leaving the board at about the same time, mainly because of those two. I checked that board out not long ago and it has basically devolved into a linkshare board with almost no original content.
