Superheroes Round 5: Spider-Man vs Beast (Hank McCoy)

Ok, this was hard, but after giving it a day of thought I am voting Spider-Man for the following reasons.

1) the wisdom of crowds. There is a reason why Pete is one of the most famous heros in the world

2) historical importance. Spider-Man changed comics. Every comic book since Spider-Man owes a direct debt to Spider-Man. You can't say that about Beast

3)beast has never been able to be a main character.

Put it together and I have to vote Spidey.
