I'm with Solfy. So much stomach-wrenching horror has not been seen since black people were lynched and little girls burned alive in the civil rights era, children were drenched in napalm, gay people were killed, my friends came home just a little crazy, a national guardsman shot a student, Watts burned, women who want personal and economic equality vilified, and the President tried to undermine the Constitution. Now black people are being shot, school children massacred here and in the Middle East, trans people are being killed, Ferguson ('nuff said), women who want personal and economic equality vilified, the New Deal dismantled, our civil rights stripped, and the President is undermining the Constitution.

I am old. Until it happened I did not believe it was possible for us to dive back in to this sedimentation tank. I am not going to change anything or anyone's mind by writing about it here, I am politically active elsewhere, and I am weary. I come here to be stupid and silly.
