There were politicians, notables, rock stars and strippers, a philosopher and a technician, a baker, a butcher, a green grocer and a supermarket cashier – all waiting for the happy family, and ready to shower them with gifts. My boss had lined up snacks, and my colleagues no doubt had lascivious silly pranks planned.
I know, that in the server room, on one of the core Nexus switches, I made a port just for them to fiddle with. I also prepared a few amphenol coils they could cuddle in. Next to my desk, I had a cat box with blankets and a sign to not wake up the lovers. On top of the cat box was a dish where you could donate money to a good cause (in this case, a dinner for the raffers). My favorite Mexican restaurant had a seat ready as well. Sadly, none of that happened.  They all don’t believe me anymore, so I will have to go find a new, fresh, giraffe, maybe with a Fenris, and start to take pictures and make a blog. This will happen very soon. After that post, the new Giraffe and Fenris will need traveling I think – we will get to that in due time. But – before I go to all that trouble, I must ask. Blobby – where family?

We're wondering where our travelling package of giraffe toys has got to--it was last with The Chilean Blob, who indicated her intention to send it along to Jim Nightshade overseas but it's not arrived. We've been passing this thing along for YEARS and would rather not have the streak broken.

You should look for some of the photo threads we've posted, they're pretty amusing. I got the package fairly early and added a bunch of stuff like a trashy girlfriend for the original giraffe and some crocheted items and the like. Some of the pics from my thread were taken at Darmund's old place in N Portland.
