California is burning, again. Los Angeles/Ventura County are particularly hard-hit, though there are bad ones near Temecula as well.

Also, for the record: We have a massive proposal due next Wednesday at work, so my usual seven-or-so posts per Day may not even be that high at first.

OOG: I'm fucking tired. I've basically "toured" Europe (or around 12 countries), but only around in the shittiest city in Europe and in five days. Five days with around 7 to 9 concerts an evening. I played eleven concerts! I did: Hosting, being roadie, chaperoning, hotel-ownering, (kinda) dealing (chaperoning people to coffee shops), catering, unfucking whatever my co-organizer fucked up, misc. But it's soon xmas.

Are there issues about mechanics or or the setup to has out? Many of us have played this setup before, if not all of us.

I have my first white list candidate, but I'd rather play it close to the chest for now, and it's obviously not from an investigation, so it's hardly bulletproof. It's a bit too premature to have even a weak scum lead.

I have only played this set up once before and I was Nk'd straight away but I am sure I have the hang of it. Maybe not, we will see lol

I think the thing I saw people struggling most with were the switches.

The Town Power Roles can be switched on or off.

Each individual Scum can affect one power role. Which means, IIRC, only two Town Powers can be switched off initially.

Aha! But!

The Serial Killer can control all three switches as they wish.

So there's initially a 50/50 chance of any given power role working (Scum on/3PK off or Scum off/3PK on = Town Power off. Scum on/3PK on or Scum off/3PK off = Town Power off).

This will obviously chance as Scum dies, and if we get the 3PK. And when a Town Power dies, their switch (oddly) remains active but that doesn't mean they actually have an effect.

Update: The poorly planned project scheduled for Tuesday has now been split into two smaller but equally poorly planned projects spread over both Tuesday and Thursday. So my play will be limited then.

Nah, it's not as if I'm even doing the work. Part of the poorly planned bit is that management has decided in their infinite wisdom to pay exorbitant fees to an outside vendor to come in and do the extremely easy work that I already get paid to do for a pittance. So I'll essentially be just watching some guy do my job for like 1000X the price. And if the project DID involve go over the window and/or my regular shift, then the graveyard guy will be the one involved with watching the vendor.
