Depending on who was up for lynch, this could be valuable information later, possibly linking Bahamut with another player. And forcing a tie is great for information, not anti-monster, as you see who wants to break those ties.
Couple of things.

Thank you for catching yourself in your own net, as I had posted the post about tie-breaking today and not on Friday, though you claimed not to have seen it when I questioned you below. Also, you have avoided answering the question about whether your acknowledgment of your own scumminess meaning you want to die or not.

(though I am still suspicious of those I have voted.

1.) My own net? Huh?
2.) I do not want to die, but the question was proposed by Mordenkainen, so I want to know what on earth you are talking about.
3.) You asked who... what exactly? I haven't avoided answering questions, as you haven't asked any of me. Especially today.

Please show me where I claimed to not have read you post prior to my player-list assessment. (It doesn't exist.)
Please show me where you questioned me at all (especially today) because as far as I can tell, it doesn't exist.
It looks like you posted your last message before I got to your posts, because I included it in my assessment of you. In fact, you made the claim that you posted in between my posts, so I assumed I might have missed something, and reread your posts again. I didn't miss anything.

Correction: I did miss Ogre Jelly in my player-list assessment, because they hadn't posted when I was making my player list.

My apologies to all, and especially PurpleWorm.

my main reason for looking askance at the vote was that I am unfond of voting for lurkers in the early game, mainly because lynching them tells us nothing beyond their alignment. If we get to a point where a lurker is the most feasible Hero candidate because we have Monster reads on all hte active players, then give it a shot. (I've been in that position once; I was even right, the lurker was the last Demon - but unfortunately we should have lynched the serial killer first.)

I'm trying to build a vote picture for today before I indulge in any analysis.
This post bugged me, but it took a while to figure out why. It’s too conciliatory. It’s overly eager to calm ruffled feathers and feels like scum trying to dodge a bad position they took earlier. It’s fine to change minds, it’s the tone here that really feels bad to me.
I don't know about you, but I have found over the years that Mafia is not fun when the players are insulting each other. To avoid potential unpleasantness I tend to follow a piece of proverbial advice.
A soft answer turneth away wrath:
but grievous words stir up anger.
It makes gameplay more pleasant if we're not insulting each other while suggesting that the other is (or could be) a lying piece of scum.

I've sometimes failed at this, but that's because, deep down, I don't like people suggesting I might be a lying piece of scum.

Having read the thread and caught up after lagging through the weekend, I'm now convinced that Owlbear's voting for Kali os indicative of a Monster's solo existence rather than a Hero team, thus I withdraw any stated or implied suspicion.

Alan: in your analysis of Bahamut in post 244 you mentioned his last comment came on Friday, but then included a reference to forcing a tie not being anti-Monster as Bahamut had suggested, which is something he posted today (Monday).

One would think that in a game of deception and deduction, it would be easier to take that little bit, but I agree it is sometimes hard to note take comments like that personally.

Thanks for pointing that out Mord. I added the last line to Bahamut's entry as I read the tie comment specifically. When I got to Vichy PLZ I read a little bit further because I noticed there were new posts since my last.

Just a few more points today then, since I do have some time.

. Your role playing is amusing, but you're hiding that you're barely playing the game at all. You've posted barely more than fluff with your character, in my opinion.

I'm suspicious of Alan. This isn't an FOS - I can see how some would see how I'm playing as suspicious. This has more to do with your general play today, and your listing of all players - I've found the first person to volunteer it can be scummy (not always). It's a fishing exercise. See what else the town feels about people, then use that to start up a train. Point in your favor, though, is you're not asking anyone else to follow along.

Because I am posting during my breaks from work and don't think I have time to reread d1. For some players, I have noted my initial assumptions in addition to my stance on them today.

It's later, Alan. Why do you suspect Owlbear?
"Keeps deferring"
This is that part you guys should look at when I am revealed as a monster, as I have deferred but once.
I make it twice; post 145 and post 164.

Given my two scummy reads for Alan and Mord, does this fit the pattern of scum on scum distancing? Yes. Mord is riding Purple’s case on a weak lynch candidate, and not even throwing a vote behind it.

I didn't place a vote for Alan then because I wanted to read what he had to say in answer to my question. I don't place multiple votes on a lynch except in certain circumstances, as discussed earlier. My suspicion of Alan had not, at that point, risen to a high enough level to cast a vote.

I've caught up as best I can. The ones that stand out for me are Onna Roll and Jeopardy Contestant.

I too noted that Onna Role threw out a line but their power that seemed out of place. What was the point? Don't we all have powers? Seemed like a not-so-subtle implication that they had something useful and therefore important not to lynch.

Jeopardy Contestant strikes me as one who is discussing but not really saying anything. Scum often hide there.

While I'm suspicious of JC and this is a multi-vote game, I'm not voting for them since I want Onna Roll lynched more.

I make it twice; post 145 and post 164.
But I wasn't referring discussion for later in the earlier of those 2 posts. I was referring a vote at the time, pending discussion. The later post was a clarification of the earlier one.

Jeopardy Contestant has six votes.

If there is a second death, Onna Role has four, Alan Tudyk and myself three.
