Sario didn't play in either of the games. Plus, I think being the first to vote for a bad reason is less telling than piggybacking on a bad reason. As for you over Mahaloth, I could go either way but I have to start somewhere.

I get putting pressure on a newbie. If they are Scum they could well be a weaker link in the chain. Indeed we had a newbie here recently who had difficulty as Scum and eventually had to drop playing because of it. We are a friendly group, but you don't get a free ride because you are inexperienced.

That said, SNF saying his vote is now a pressure vote instead of a joke vote is strange because I do not think most newbies would understand the difference.

I guess I don't mind the votes. I don't even mind the reasons given for the votes. They're data to be analyzed. That they're on a new player I think may say something about the voter. Not sure what yet. How the new player handles the votes is also noteworthy. I think Vanta has reacted well so far to someone wanting to fake kill them.

Don't worry too much about doing wrong in Mafia. After you play this game for a while you will find that doing wrong is pretty much par for the course. No matter how much you screw it up, I promise we've all done worse.

It just makes those few times you do it right all the more sweet.
