Taskmaster

Thanks to my child for alerting me to this, but this lovely little piece of british comedy is 100% available on youtube, full episodes!

Each series has 5 new contestants of a variety of levels of British fame, participating in 8-10 episodes. I've found so many genuinely funny people through watching this.

Enjoy!

Taskmaster is Amazing.

The New Zealand version, is amaznger.

Then, you realize that like 12 other countries have episodes. Including the US. .... We don't talk about the US version.

Here is a jump cut of all of the intro / themes for ALL versions of Taskmaster.

A Clip from season 2 here. A very early on bona-fide CLASSIC moment in Taskmaster history.

I could continue, and I probably will. But. Legit, this is a good quick taste of the insanity this show is.

Wow...until reading this thread I had no idea this show was done for the US.

It really shows how little value US culture is outside of the super weird bubble that's going on in here. It was ... horrific. Painful to watch even just clips of it. Lisa Lampanelli is probably the worst human being I've ever seen hold the title of "entertainer" - really edging out even Andy Dick or that redheaded twat what had the new year's eve kerfuffle a while ago.

The UK version is however one of my all time favorite shows, and I absolutely love the interaction of all involved. Favorites being James Acaster and that funny guy with the mustache whose name I can't remember.

The oz version is damned unwatchable though the host is one of my favourite comedians, he is crushed by the autocue, he needs to ad lib. None of the rest of the cast appeal at all.
