Yeetmas 3 - Day 1: The War for Relevancy Begins

Welcome to Day 1 of our annual holiday game. I hope everyone is ready to have some fun and I hope participation is really vigorous and enjoyable. Please feel free to ask any questions about the setup or whatever. Hey, I might even answer.

Role PM's have been sent out. Let me know if you didn't get one. I promise I didn't intentionally leave anyone out.

Day 1 will run until Thursday, December 23 at 3 PM Eastern. I would expect and extended Night 1 due to Christmas Weekend, etc.

Here is a countdown to the end of the Day.

There will be one wrap today and no extra available. Day 2 and beyond might have more available, but we'll see.

Got a miserable cold with plenty of sneezing coughing and discharge. It certainly doesn't feel bad like advertised covid (I am vaxed and boosted), so I am hoping for the standard cold weather ague.

I'd get tested. My co-worker had some head congestion(she is vaxxed and boosted) and it was Covid. It was gone in just a few days, but she was really surprised it was Covid-19.

The vaccine made it very minor.

As for the rest. I'm just super stoked for that new Macbeth movie Joel Coen is doing, and the period piece (as such) that Apple (computer) is doing on the stranger than fiction real life true story on how Tetris (Yes. that Tetris) made it over to the US. It's legit a real "thing" that is cloak and dagger / corporate espionage.

The copy and paste that Day's URL into the bar on that site. Push "Count Votes" and it will show the current vote total.

Votes must be bolded and in blue. And everyone really needs to spell out names correctly. Technically, I can avoid counting miscast votes, but I really do end up fixing misspellings if I catch them.

A Coen movie? With Denzel? Yes please. Generally love the Coens' takes on things. Don't know about Frances as Lady McB though, I mean, I love her, but she's always Marge to me. But I guess that doesn't rule her out as "out damn spot!" she's just on the other side now...

No idea what A24 is though, sounds like some weird European paper size.

Tetris also intriguing. Non sequitur, [TMI] I think of Tetris every night when I go to bed. Because I sleep with a man, two cats, and a dog. On good nights the cats are not there because, as I'm the last one to bed usually, I have to fit myself in and it's not pretty. I call it Petris.
