Here’s the thing. It’s complete wine. Pleo could be vanilla town trying to pull a Mariah or Elf NK. Who knows. He could also be a cop and by claiming not doc is causing some confusion on his randing. I wouldn’t take any stock in it Day 1 and let’s re-evaluate in a few days

post 44 Pleo states he is not a doc of any kind and after the cop claim post 97 he is 'not protecting Prof.' as if he wanted to make certain it was noticed? Small beans but it is what I've got right now. |

Archangel is the one on whom I have a slight Scum lean. Meta-inference about asking for sub could go either way.
I feel better about this vote knowing that it's just for "a player to be named later." |

Furather hint: I spent many years working seasonal retail which soured me on most holiday songs, even ones I liked, such as the TransSiberian version of Carol of the Bells, that song by the Waitresses, and the heavy metal version of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. This one is a little more obscure, at least in the jazz version, and if it ever got played in a mall, I didn't hear it, or at least not 10x a shift for weeks on end, so I still like it. Once a year. My humming was probably off. I know I skipped a hyphen, I corrected that somewhere, it should be "Da da-da-da DA, da" |

I still am kind of out of it, but greatly relieved. Everything I have read about Omicron says the symptoms mimic the common cold. Cases are rising all around here and I have been working overtime since Thanksgiving to keep up with the holiday madness. I think exhaustion plus anxiety plus many unmasked harried customers took its toll. Something had to give.
I feel bad because I know the store has been understaffed, and my missing the last two days has made others work even more overtime. But even if I still feel lousy tomorrow I can take over-the-counter medicine and muddle through without a fear of infecting others with Covid. And there are two more rough pre-Xmas days to get past. |

I'll take "Classical tunes with first 12 notes the same pitch" for $100, Alec. What's the name of the tune that goes something like G g g g G G . G g g G .I don't think I've heard the tune since the 20th century (and it probably isn't a Christmas song) but it must be VERY famous, or else there's no way it would have stuck in my brain. If anyone can identify the tune I'm thinking of from the above — which doubtless has a few notes wrong — I'll promise to Unvote you three times and gift you five books of your choice from the collection listed at Gutenberg.Org. |

Right then, Pleo voted for AA for her very first post, which was about not understanding anything that was being said. Vanta vote her for a feeling and because AA already had a vote on her and Swammi voted her because of a slight scum lean. There doesn't seem to be anything compelling there.

Swammi has voted for no wrap and then for Archangel without unvoting. He probably forgot to unvote but he was accused of pushing for no wrap so he should have noticed that he had voted for it. Swammi's other posts have just been light-hearted.
I also hope this answers guiri's question as to who I think is actively lurking. |
