Two things.

Firstly, I disagree with LtL in the early game. My opinion is that lurking is a null tell. Indeed, I've only seen it lead to Mafia a small handful of times (one being Yeetmas 3). So to me, voting for Metallic Squink now could be an attempt to form a wagon on someone who, for whatever reason, isn't here to counterargue. Generally, lurking mafiates don't emerge until the late game when lack of actions reveal them.

The only conclusion I come to from this is not to vote MS Today.

The other is that the Professor, when voting MS in post 212, explicitly stated that if he were to vote for self-preservation (another thing I generally consider a null tell) he would have voted for Silverjan; an option he still has at the time of writing.

While doing individual poster surveys, this gives me a place to start.
