Reporting back. 5 people tried them, including me, and 5 out of 5 all preferred the sous-vide version. It's amazing the difference you get just from the way you cook them. That sous-vide machine is the best 50 bucks I ever spent. I'm going to cook them with the sous-vide machine from now on.
