Assuming a player thought an early unforced vanilla claim is bad, how do you get from that to being suspicious of someone who does make the early unforced vanilla claim? To me, that leap is what indicates that Vanta Black is not vanilla.

The others is an asterisk and defensiveness? I think everyone have been in a situation where they defend themselves as town, I have at least. Tbh I've seen a lot of town eliminations because said defensiveness being suspicious. This stuff is null for me. I think I see the above point Pleo made, though.
