3 ball is not a game i'm used to.
get 5 guys everyone puts in a widget in the pot rack 3 balls you get four shots to make the three balls whoever makes the balls in the fewest turns wins. if you scratch, you add a widget to the pot and you lose your turn this is played while drunk after the "regular" 8 ball tourney was already done i'd rather play 9 ball, but 3 ball is surprisingly fun woot, where's the high balls? |

Dr. Pepper! I just today discovered that the local grocery chain has started carrying that precious elixir!
I followed my bottle of Dr. Pepper with two beers and I'm working on a bit of Tsukimizu-no-Ike†, so I'm more than justified in posting here. †Not to be confused with Tsukimizu-no-Ike! |

It's sake, which I guess people call rice wine (even though it is produced more like beer than wine). The little purple grape-looking things on the label are wisteria flowers (for which the real Tsukimizu-no-Ike is known).
And the small building in the photo is more accurate described as a shrine, typically Shinto, although the one in this photo is a combination Shinto and Buddhist shrine. That said, I think the nearby Nikko Temple (Buddhist) handles the majority of the upkeep. I'm not really sure who, if anybody in particular, is enshrined there. |

I was thinking about that the other day, Solfy! I really should post an update on it. Although by now it is for all intents and purposes umeshu, it's still steeping in plums and isn't quite ready. I don't want to crack it open until it has been at least a full year.
The best thing about waiting a year is that by the time this batch is ready, it will be time to pick the plums for next year's batch! ![]() ETA: Tell your boss you've suddenly come down with SARS, Bumber. |
