No idea. I used Google Maps. I will look at it again and print it out at work--my printer at home is broken.

Aha....cool. Yeah, if you could let me know how it's routing you, I might be able to suggest alternate routes if necessary.

It's probably easiest to take 6 over to I-69, then south to Auburn.

Never mind, I was having a duh moment.

I did take 6 most of the way to Michigan City about this time last year (come to think of it I was on 6 from just north of Syracuse to Corunna a couple of months ago) and it wasn't that bad. It's a lot of little towns and open flatland and it is fairly busy during the day but it's not extremely hilly or curvy if that bothers you. I guess I should say that 'fairly busy' undoubtedly means something different to me than it would to you - you might find it lightly traveled.

Is now a good time to say that I don't know any of your RL names (except Uthy and that doesn't count. He is the International Man of Mystery, so I'm sure he didn't give me his REAL name, anyway...)

I feel funny about calling someone DogMom on the phone.

Suse--thanks! I think once I get past the whole NE Indiana crap (tons of stoplights etc), that I'll be fine. I actually prefer to travel the secondary highways, especially in the Midwest, because there's lots to see. I will be taking I-80 home, given that it'll be dark and I'll just want to get there.

Update: backyard, the Statues In The Park exhibit is gone now, so your creepy window-washing stalker eyeless scary alfred hitchcock boyfriend has moved on to greener pastures.
