Nike+ iPod = Good gift?
I'm considering getting a Nike+ iPod kit for my boyfriend for Christmas. Any runners around here use one? I will not be getting him the shoes, but I know you can use the little fob thingy on any pair of shoes, as long as it's oriented properly.
Mods, if this is better suited to YTC, move it plzkthx? |

I don't use one but I wish I could (iPod too old, and I'm too cheap to get a new one). A friend of mine has one and she loves it. I say go for it!
(And if by chance he doesn't like it, I would be offended if you regifted it my way! ![]() |

The Runner's World website usually has good information about different running gadgets.
Here are a bunch of articles and I see some about Nike (although I'm not sure if it's the same one you are looking at): http://www.runnersworld.com/topic-ex...21-0-0,00.html |

Oh, I missed when you answered me, Squink. That's pretty much what I was looking at (the sensor is the same, it just uses its own armband receiver instead of the iPod receiver). Thanks for the link.
![]() It should be here by tomorrow (fingers crossed!). |

Waitaminnit, this sounds interesting. A Nike+ device that you don't need the iPod for? But when I followed Squink's link, I just got a page full of links, and I don't know which one is being discussed. Little help?
