Deliberately. I live in an old house with no central and terribly drafty windows, so running a 220 unit all summer is really, really expensive. I've installed blackout curtains, and I've got fans and frozen 2 liter bottles for the bunnies. In theory I can open the windows and run the fans all night, then get up early and shut them and trap the nighttime coolness in for most of the day. I'll turn the A/C on if the indoor temperature exceeds 90 degrees, but I'm hoping that won't be until August, which is the hottest month around here.
