Cell phones China are opening up China for all to see.

They need to work on toddler control....

Yep. Oddly-walking animals and rogue three year-olds seem to be the main themes.

With the "one child per family" policy, you'd think they'd be more careful with them.

Unless they are trying to get rid of this one, so they can try to get a "better" one next time!

What makes me wonder is the little girl who was hit by a van and then started smoking. Like, how many kids get hit by vans in China? Wasn't there a big to-do about a little girl being run over by two vans last year? You'd think they'd put a leash on these kids or something.

That video you're referring was horrific, but the sad truth is that those kind of incidents happen more often than not. As for those other pics: the skeptical side of me thinks many are hoaxes.

What do you mean, more often than not? Are kids in China more likely to get hit by vans than to not get hit by vans?

The "two-legged lamb" appears to have two back legs, oriented the wrong way; its head is coming out of its ass. A remarkable mutation indeed.

Some of the images may be genuine but with creative captioning. For example the upright chicken isn't especially amazing. There are some established breeds that have upright carriages, like the Shamo or Brazilian Gamefowl.

On the other hand, I suppose we should expect a certain frequency of legitimate "crazy" news out of China. I mean, look how many bizarre, apparently true stories the United States produces. China is more than four times our size. If something freaky is gonna happen, we shouldn't be surprised if it happens there.

I'd be willing to bet money that the fat kid is a sadly mismanaged case of Prader Willi.

I can't say for certain that traffic accidents (like the one in the video) happen a lot, but the likelihood of children being left unattended is real, and they can suffer fatal (or near-fatal) accidents. Like being hit by a vehicle, falling out of a building, abducted, etc.

I call the third pic "disingenuous." It's a costume worn on the front of the dog. Link. The "arms" are part of the costume.

The sixth pic, the Smoking Child, could easily be fabricated: give her a lit cigarette and take the photo.

The ninth pic, the Three-Horned Cow, could also be fabricated.

The 16th pic (the finger sewn onto the belly) has been done elsewhere (Youtube video, here... warning, graphic nature), so it's not as implausible.

Other pics could be authentic (the dog that walks, the "mammoth" dog, the beekeeper) but without verification by a trusted news source I remain skeptical. It's fun to look at, but that doesn't give it credibility.
