I find police scanners from other countries to be interesting, not so much because of the "something horrible is happening to someone" aspect, but more for the various scope of what's included in "police work" in various places.

And sometimes funny shit happens, like the naked septugenarian riding a ride-on mower down the freeway that I saw on one of those "World's Blankiest Blank" police video shows.
