Politicians who work toward evil ends and don't take care of their own constituents are engaging in violence, but because the violence is sublimated through a bureaucracy, it's easier to see the crime of shooting Steve Scalise as being obviously a crime.

Not saying the guy who shot him is a hero, and that isn't an act that I would want to define my life personally. But yeah...I won't shed one tear for that scumbag.

Scalise may be a puppy kicking rabbit felcher, but he was elected. So our patriotic shooter is actually trying to overthrow a popular election by violence. If the dirtbag really wanted to devote his life to the cause of freedom, he would have organized some fellow citizens and attended all those boring old public meetings and actually gotten something done. So it wasn't really about freedom after all, was it. Can you say, American Taliban?
