SIL bought himself a minivan yesterday, so I have my car back - YAY!!! Not that I was stranded - we're a 2-person household with 3 vehicles, tho the pickup is mostly used to haul our trash and recycling every other week or so.
Plus I finally caved and drove
FCD's new Santa Fe a couple of times. Apart from the fact that it's big as a freekin' bus
it's still new enough that I don't want to put the first scratch or ding in it. But having caved, I also entered my phone and profile into the computer, so my preferred radio stations come up as favorites. And I've just about figured out the cruise control - it's not like in my Sonata, for all that they're both Hyundai vehicles.
No matter - I've got my car back!! I've put most of its 217K miles on it, so I'm very comfortable in the driver's seat, and since
FCD never drives it any more, all my adjustments stay! Happy happy day!!
Yeah, it doesn't take a lot to make me happy.
