I think you may be right. Sounds like he sees BANNED on a post, reads it, and thinks, "Hmm, not seeing a problem here." (It's possible he hangs out on 4chan and similar boards where they put "USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST" on the offending post, but I doubt it.)

It's a little surprising that a derper with a 2002 join date wouldn't know how the bans work, but I've seen stupider shit from the smartest, hippest people on the planet.

So I asked a question about my computer, and pretty much everyone agreed that the fan needs cleaned. Okay, fine, I can have it done. (I'll most likely take it to Best Buy) I'm also going to get the cooling pad someone linked to next week, since I probably can't afford to take it in until next month.

However, when I asked how much it'll probably cost, I'm immediately told I should do it myself, because it's cheaper and easier.

(No, that's not going to happen. I don't feel confident doing so, and I barely have the money to fix it, let alone get a brand new computer if I fuck things up!)
