People Who Carry Guns are (usually) Assholes

I like guns. I own guns. I like the Second Amendment too. I am a resident of a 'shall issue' state and have long toyed with the idea of carrying in public if I ever return there.

Of course I posted the video of that fellow pulling a gun on the pigeon-rights fellow. I suspect he is an asshole. (In fact we seem to have decided both of them were.)

Now we have this police wannabe shooting a kid in Florida. Horrible. It seems he just carried a gun because he could. Maybe he wanted to feel like a big man.

So I am wondering if my own thoughts of open-carrying is a sign of my own tendency to being a bully.

Sure lots of nice people carry. Further, very few people who carry get into trouble. I understand that the media only prints stories of when things go very badly.

Still, I am starting to think that most people who open-carry are probably jerks. What do you think?
